First you want to start planning for this vacation as soon as possible. Don’t let the planning of your honeymoon come second to your wedding. Instead plan it at the same time so that you know everything is going smoothly. Start by researching online or asking for help from an experienced travel agent. You can also start picking up different travel magazines which will help give you a better idea of where you want to go in the Caribbean.

These travel magazines also have multiple reviews about the different Caribbean hotels and resorts. These are both professional and consumer reviews which will allow you to know how previous guests felt about their experience at a specific place. Obviously you want to go with the best hotel or resort that fits your price range.

Once you have found the area and hotel or resort that you would like to stay at then book your reservations as early as possible. When you have your honeymoon vacation planned early it will greatly lower the chances of any mishaps on this once of a lifetime experience. Booking your reservations early will also save you additional cash because you will get access you great discounts and special rates.

This will give you the time to search around and find the best deals. Aim for at least six to eight months prior to your departure. Also keep in mind that many Caribbean hotels will be fully booked in the busiest summer months. Don’t forget to confirm your reservations weeks before you are scheduled to leave. Call you travel agent and confirm your flight reservations.
